kc is the lovechild of a ménage à quatre

20 11 2008

that is right. the product of a foursome.

i know… that is silly.
preposterous even.

but it is true.

i found this out a rather peculiar way…

i was looking at my old journal for one of my college photo classes at portfolio center.
now, keep in mind, i made this journal during the summer of 2005. i met kc in january of 2007.
not to mention it was tucked away in a box for a good year, only to be rediscovered after we got married.
it was jerry burns’ class and it was prolly one of my more favorite classes at the school.
we kept a journal which i was accustomed to keeping from over the years.
and it it i had a tribute to good looking people. well, ok… men. :P

i had some photos i had cut out of magazines of all sorts, mainly photography magazines.

here were the key photos:

Hugh Jackman
Tobey McGuire
Topher Grace
Jake Gyllenhaal

there were others like jared leto, fabrizio moretti (the strokes), gael garcia bernal and a few more.

but these four that i mentioned first were on the first page.
all also had one thing in common…

in their photos, they all had a significant amount of facial hair.
not too little, but not a lot.

anywho… you can judge for yourself if you think these four could make a lovechild together and create…

DUN DUN DAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! KC, my wonderful husband. :)

i know… i’m cheesy.

but in my humble opinion, these are what attributes to kc: hugh’s eyes, tobey’s facial structure, topher’s nose and jake’s lip structure.

meh. whatev.

History: Election 2008

4 11 2008

(CNN)– Sen. John Kerry released the following statement in response to Sen. Barack Obama’s victory:

“Tonight we elected a President who has inspired a majority of Americans with his vision and policies, a man who is principally a leader for these times who happens to also be African American; and because of America’s stunning ability to move on and transform, to write a new chapter of our history, Barack Obama will be President during the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights movement and the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.

“Tonight there are tears of joy and disbelief in small rural communities and inner cities, where for too long, some weren’t sure anything was really possible for them.

“Tonight new dreams are born and old truths are affirmed. Tonight we enter a new America, the best America, the America of our highest hopes.”

i don’t know what will come in the future, but i am anxious, excited, nervous and hopeful.

i pray that our nation gets better.
i pray for our president to make choices that will be good for the people.
i pray that we look forward to change.
