i pray that myself and those around me can watch the tongue.
the tongue can do so much damage.
what comes out of my mouth will not always be the wisest or choice of words.
i wish this wasn’t the truth… but it is.
i never wish to hurt people or lie, but i will.
i’m trying harder to be a woman of my word.
for God. for others. and for myself.
this weekend was a good one.
casey and i wanted to go to centennial park.
maria and ben came with gunner and luke.
i forgot my camera like an idiot.
there were a lot of people and dogs there. it was a blast.
maria and ben took the dogs home and casey and i took a nap on a blanket.
it was awesome.
a squirrel came so close to us. he was 3 or 4 feet away. craziness!
and we got tattoos.
we’re crazy.
it’s really amazing to have someone you adore… adore you right back.
the things that come out of casey’s mouth fascinate me.
he says the things i’m thinking and has direction much like mine.
we want to accomplish a lot of the same things… and together.
that to me is worth living for just to see what will happen and what we are capable of.
i wrote this to a friend:
love should never be like a fairy tale. fairy tales always have magic and happy endings and the REAL love stories i have had the pleasure of knowing about don’t need magic and don’t always end happy… but they are still real… and still good.
but…
love should be like a story.
with an introduction, a beginning, a rising action, a climax, a falling action, a conclusion and hopefully… a sequel… or even a series to follow.
it should leave and impression and something to be continued.
i will marry this man as soon as possible.
and i will continue the story we have started.
i’m just waiting on God for the next sentence, the next paragraph, next chapter…
