“My temptations have been my masters in divinity.” -Martin Luther

temptation simply provides the choice.
fruit always matures and ripens slowly.
temptation always starts in you mind… not in your circumstances.

temptation is a sign that satan hates you:
1. desire
2. doubt
3. deception
4. disobedience

refuse to be intimidated.
recognize your pattern and be prepared for it
request God’s help.

BUT REMEMBER… temptations keep us dependent on God.

“God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.” -James 1:12 (NLT)
