Yes, in the path of Your judgments, O Lord, we wait [expectantly] for You; our heartfelt desire is for Your name and for the remembrance of You. wow. again.
i went to that tuesday night singles ministry in gainesville.
(by the grace of God someone gave us gas money)
and then this scripture came up in my random daily scripture thing.
that is so good.

i can’t even begin to explain how much i neeeded what was spoken to give me peace.
and even though the focus was on relationships…
what i heard can apply for EVERYTHING i am concerned for in my life right now.
and here it is:

“blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.”
luke 6:21 (kjv)

you are blessed by God now… no matter what the situation looks like.
you will be satisfied.
if you seek Him and do the things He loves and cares about most,
then He will give you what you desire the most.
ask Him what He requires of you and ask Him what He has promised.

“delight yourself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
psalm 37:4

if you are to delight in God, you have to eat BIG meals of His WORD.
your bible is daily bread. it is your sustenance. it is the source of your strength and endurance.
because you will need that in order to run wholeheartly to God.
that is an ongoing thing. the longest marathon ever. EVER.
and you are supposed to run (seek) Him until you are whole.
think about it… you need to refill the gas tank
and keep regular maintenance on a car
in order to keep the engine running.
FEAR will make you do something FOOLISH.
remember that.

what keeps us on the right track as followers of Christ?
praying.
fleeing from evil things.
and flipping the channel of our minds back to God when focused on unnecessary things.

there is no used to just wait around. wait on God.
anticipate the blessing… but get on with life. keep busy with His business!
fulfill His purpose and serve Him.
we should continue trying things God’s way… He knows what He is doing.

i am so glad i got to go. i really needed all of that… He knows i did.
and we even got some prayer. i mean… for not telling someone much about what to pray for…
she hit EVERYTHING that is on my heart right now…
