that was what was on my daily scripture for today.

but…
i got such a good word tonight at the free chapel single’s ministry meeting.
it was sooooooo good.
lemme try to remember…
it was from genesis 32, about how jacob wrestled with God and how God put Him in a vulnerable position.
jacob wanted something so badly from God that He would not let Him go until God blessed him.
but the thing is he endured so much to get to that vulnerable point
in which God could reveal Himself to jacob beyond any doubt that He was who He claimed to be.
God let all these things happen to him in his life that when it came to the boiling point
jacob had no other option than to demand that God show him who He really was.
and God appointed him, gave him purpose…
and even changed his name to israel because of the greatness that He had planned for jacob.

it’s funny how God can answer your concerns and prayers in such a way… that it is impossible to not give Him credit. and on top of that… the answers are usually so unexpected that you wonder how the heck you even caught on.
