“The saying is sure and true andworthy of full and universal acceptance, that Christ Jesus (the Messiah) came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am foremost. But I obtained mercy for the reason that in me, as the foremost [of sinners], Jesus Christ might show forth and display all His perfect long-suffering and patience for an example to [encourage] those who would thereafter believe on Him for [the gaining of] eternal life. Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible and immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever (to the ages of ages). Amen (so be it).” -I Timothy 1:15-17 (AMP)

Jesus came for sinners.
that means anyone and everyone.
and even christians can be examples of the worst kind of people.

see… the part of me that is good is not me,
but Christ within me.
by mercy… He can still work through me.
by mercy… He shines forth through my every facet.
by mercy… He displays His beauty and perfection.

and He does so accordingly.
He knows when and where and who.
He knows the steps needed to bring someone into His presence.
He knows how to get attention and acknowledgment.
i just never know what my role might be.
but it doesn’t matter whether i am a cultivator, a planter or a harvester.
what matters is that i am allowing Him to use me to fulfill a purpose.

everything has a purpose.
people often ask why there is evil in the world.
but even evil has its purpose.

without flaws we wouldn’t have perfection.
without ugliness we wouldn’t have beauty.
without shame we wouldn’t have glory.
without disgrace we wouldn’t have honor.

God is perfect. God is beautiful.
and He deserves all glory and honor.

  1. without evil there would be no righteous.

I agree with this post 100%

Our every thought should be to honor and glorify the LORD our God.

That is why man was created in the first place, to bring praise and honor to his name.

There is no question about it when you read verses like ‘i will keep him in perfect peace whos mind is stayed on thee’ it is always us, people, human nature…who get in the way, probably with alittle help from the devil and his buddies. I am realizing this more and more in my life that the more I yeild my life to Him and His will, the happier and more at peace i will be, still might not be the easiest road to take but it will bring the most joy.

My Name is Adam, would you mind if I added you to my friends list?

  2. thanks so much! that was awesome and encouraging. of course you can be added. i will enjoy to read your posts as well. :)
