i just had the worst experience flying ever.

well… my vacation overall to england and scotland was great. but the way home almost ruined it for me. when i got to the airport it was july 1st and 1 am here in atlanta and 6 am there in england. i was there early so i had to wait 2 hours to check in. but only to find out that my flight was cancelled. so they rescheduled one for later that day at 1:30 pm. 5 hours to sit around and wait. so the good thing is i get to fly business class. nice!!!

i get to amsterdam and have to wait around 3 hours to check into my next flight. when i get to the counter to show the paperwork i got to pose as my boarding pass… they say that i dont have the right paperwork. im really ticked. i want to cry because im so mad. so they had to call BHX to find out what happened. then they reissue me another ticket. this flight from BHX to JFK (new york) was business class as well and an 8 hour flight. sweet!!! all i can say is i never want to fly coach again… but probably will because im not rich.

i get to JFK and it takes like 2 hours for me to find a representative to give me a hotel voucher because my flight doesnt leave until 6:30 am. but its like midnight and i pretty much check in in about 4 hours. so i get to the hotel to find out that no one called them and theyre pretty much booked for the holiday weekend. i have no room. i am livid and want to punch the guy behind the counter in the face, even if it isnt his fault. so i have to go back to the airport.

there is no representative of the airline at the airport.

so… 4 hours with no rest later i go to check in.

my flight is… yeah… you guessed it.
its freakin cancelled.
i had a straight shot to atlanta.
but no.
technical problems.

so… i get resceduled flights.
louisville then atlanta.
but i have to wait 6 hours.

again i just want one punch. anyone would do. i want to take out all my aggression on someone.

so i get to louisville finally. and have to wait 3 hours to catch the flight to atlanta. praying the whole time that nothing goes wrong.

so….

i get to atlanta.
yay.

and it only takes two hours to find my luggage.
because they put it on the wrong conveyor belt.
i mean theres only 9 different conveyor belts…

im finally home july 2nd and its 8 pm

(sigh)

i love my bed…
i love the ground…
i love sleep…

and i will love my life again when these snakebites aren’t swollen beyond comfort.
