THE SHINS!!!
dude….
i went to see the shins last night with my friend jess in athens. she drove all the way to atl to come see me and then we rushed off into traffic.
so yeah… we were at the 40 watt club and upfront…. yes… right up in daves freakin face. james was all the way on the other end, but thats ok… cuz after the show we talked to the brunettes (whom opened for them and are freakin good) and harry, the guy that plays trumpet, and i were talking about how we used to play french horn. well, they were awesome to talk to and were like, “hey! why dont you come back stage and say hi to everyone?” i was soooooooo freakin stoked! we got the shins to sign out shirts and i got dave to sign the bass pick he threw down and i jumped up to grabbed off the stage. and the brunettes signed their latest cd which i purchsed. and yes… the highlight of my night is this picture:

Last night was absolutely the best night in a while.
The show was the greatest I have ever been to, by far.
It’s been fun hanging out with you.
I was looking at concerts in atl the other day and i saw the shins and wondered if you’d be going. Glad you had fun.
p.s. i think i’m going to atl on may 30… *WINK FREAKING WINK*
