i absolutely despise people sometimes.
we are wretched and ugly. we are scared and sketchy.
we like to assume. we are prejudice.
as my pastor said the other day, “when Jesus calls us sheep, He was by no means giving us a compliment.”
if that guy took his own advice and lived for Jesus, he would have seen your heart.
“and you will know them by their fruit…”
and what i mean by “seeing the heart” is not being such surface christians. a lot of people are surface christians. they do what they think is enough. God challenges us to go all out. if you have a best friend, is it because you know their name, where they work and what they do all day? no. its because you talk to them. how are you going to know someone and make accustations if you dont talk to them first? and by talk i mean listen. listening is something we dont do anymore. and that means with God first. geez… i could go on and on…
bottom line. what happened to being transformed. since when do we buy christianity from the freezer section in its new and improved microwave recipe?!! what happened to growing? harvest? marinade? slow-cooking? yeah.
the devil loves a quick and hot meal.

“the devil loves a quick and hot meal.”
you cant blame him for that.
of course not
i like sheep, they are cute
youd feel differently if you were up close and personal with a flock of them…
